In general, you can visit the website of the CCIFI without communicating any personal information about you. In any case, you are in no way obliged to transmit this information to the CCIFI. However, in case of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. CCIFI may process your Personal Information:

Recipients: Only CCIFI is the recipient of your Personal Information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors with which the CCIFI works with. Neither the CCIFI, nor any of its subcontractors, sells the personal data of visitors and Users of its Site.
Shelf life: Your Personal Information is kept by the CCIFI only for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned above.
Member management: CCIFI process your data when we assist you in purchasing your membership and managing your member account. This processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
Directly from you, we may collect personal information when you sign up for one of our events, communicate with us. This information may include our customers’ (“Members’”) personally identifiable information, including but not limited to, our customer’s name, company name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address.... If you consider purchasing a membership from CCIFI for another person or persons, the Company will collect the same information about these people. They may contact us to request removal of their information from our database by using our contact information below.
From third party, CCIFI may collect supplement Member Information with information about a Member that is publicly available or that is made available by third parties through paid subscriptions. For example, if a Member provides the name of the company for whom that Member works, we may obtain information showing the number of employees and estimated annual turnover for that company. This information is called “Supplementary Information” and, once added to Member Information, is deemed to be Member Information.
Newsletter: We may collect personal data information when you sign up for our newsletters. In this case, data is processed on the basis of your consent. This information includes your first name, your last name, your email address and your company.
Contact information: When you contact us for any reason, we collect your name, your email address, and your message. Your Data is processed for the purposes of the legitimate interest pursued by CCIFI to keep a record of that correspondence.
Account creation form to the private area:
Email : Your email address will be your login to access your private area. In addition to this, it will allow us to contact you or send you our newsletter if you have expressed the wish to receive it. Indeed, we will send the newsletter to you by email only if you have given us your agreement, for example by subscribing to our newsletter.
Civility, Name / Surname, Country, Current position: These information allow us to know a bit more about you and for us to be able to send you personalized communications. In the form, these fields are not required to create a private area. You are free not to fill them if you do not wish.
Profile modification form on the private area:
Spoken languages: This information allows us to know in which language we should communicate with you in our emailings.
Business Sectors & Interests: These information allow us to know your interests in order to send you sectorial newsletters adapted to your daily functions and likely to meet your needs. We will send you these sector newsletters only if you subscribe to them.
Photo: The ability to upload a photo is a feature only for members of the room if they wish to appear in the member directory as a contact, and if they wish to participate in the business-matching platform.
The business matching platform: The business matching platform in our private area and mobile app CCIFI Connect is strictly reserved for members of the CCIFI.
If you are a member of the CCIFI, you have several options to control the information that would like to be published in the directory and in the business matching module.
You can choose whether or not to appear in the directory as a contact. If you choose no, no mention of you will be published in the directory. You will not have access to the business matching.
You can choose whether or not to display your email or phone number : you have decided to be visible in the directory but you do not want to be contacted from the business matching module, only your photo, your name and your positon will appear as a contact in the directory of members. No contact information will be published, regardless of the user. In this case, you will also not have access to the connection, you will not be able to get contact details from other members.
In case you participate in the business matching: Only your photo, your name, your function, your offers, your skills and bigraphy will appear in the directory contacts. Network members will have access to a contact request button to get your contact information. However they will have these coordinates only when you will accept the connection. Without your consent, no contact information will be accessible by anyone.
Recruitment: We would also like to inform you that CCIFI processes the data necessary for the recruitment process. This processing is based on CCIFI’s legitimate interest in assessing the candidate's suitability for the position offered. This processing also includes the evaluation results in our recruitment databases.
You are also informed that as part of the recruitment process, the recruitment entity may consult information from your public profile on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), other public information and archives, for the sole purpose of assessing and verifying your professional experience and skills, and whether your profile matches the culture and values of CCIFI.
Directly from you, we collect data from your resume and cover letter. And the data you fill out in this form may be sent to companies in the event that your profile meets their needs.
Professional status, type of visa, nationality: These information allow us to evaluate your availability if we have suitable offers matching your profile in companies in urgent need.
Your background, mastered software, key skills, business sectors, experience, CV: These information allow our Recruitment service to determine if your professional experiences are in line with the job positions offered by our companies.
Your current salary, minimum and maximum expected: This information will allow the company interested in your profile to determine whether it can align with your salary requirements.
The position you are looking for: This information is essential for us to match your profile with the needs of the companies in our network.
Event Registration Form: CCIFI process your data when you purchase an event ticket. Directly from you, we may collect personal information when you sign up for one of our events. This processing of personal data is necessary for the the proper management of the event.
Name, First name, Civility : This information allows us to compile our registration list for the event.
Email : Your email allows us to communicate the different information about the event. For example your confirmation of registration, reminders, a report of the event or a satisfaction questionnaire.
Name of your company, position: These information allow us to know more about your profile and why you are interested in our event. In addition it is possible that certain events are reserved for a specific category of people, or addressed to a particular sector.
Comments and chat: The app mobile CCIFI Connect provides a place for members only to post comments in a private group. Any personally identifiable information you submit may be read, collected, or used by other users of the group, and could result in others sending you unsolicited messages, solicitations or ads. CCIFI is not responsible for the use of any personally identifiable information submitted by you for the purpose of using the comments function or any other chat provided by the Website. To request removal of your personal information from a comment, please contact the CCIFI.
You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in these areas. We also remind you that it is forbidden to use rude, defamatory, insulting, racist, obscene, harassing or disrespectful language.
Qr-code: The QR Code is a unique 2-dimensional bar code for each member and which stores 3 digital information: first name, lastname and email. Its use is optional.
It can be presented voluntarily and then scanned and decrypted only from the CCIFI Connect mobile application.
Once the QR Code has been scnanned, the user can save this contact in its bookmark of his CCIFI Connect mobile application and then choose whether or not to add this contact to the internal contacts list of his phone only. This is the only action where access to the phone book is requested. We don't download any contacts from the phone book into the mobile app.
CCIFI website uses cookies: This cookies allow us to personalize content, offer social media features and analyze our traffic.
Clickstream Data: When you access our Website, a small file called a “Cookie” is placed on your hard drive. Each time you visit the Website CCIFI will use Cookies to authenticate your identity, collect the data generated in connection with your clickstream activity on the Website (“Clickstream Data”) and to personalize your user experience on the Website, including by serving and managing listed features based on your activity on the Website. Third Party Clickstream Data: When you purchase a membership or a event ticket, you are transferred to the website of our third party payment agent. As noted above, this policy does not apply to third party websites. The Website is not directed at children, and it is not intended that we collect personally identifiable information from children (particularly children under the age of eighteen). As Member of CCIFI, the instructions to review, amend, or delete your information may be found in the edit profile area on our Website.
